Slot cover green belt (Polar 242591) GB-442

Slot covering belt or tape for some of the models of the Polar 155 EMC 2, 155 EM, 155 SD, and 155 SDP paper cutters.  This belt fits cutters built between machine serial number 5521001 and 6421056, only with the 2 meter (79") long table.  (Always check your parts book, or the length of your existing belt, before ordering.  There are many length variations with these belts.  The original part number is usually located on page 20.22 of the Polar parts books.)

If you have a Polar 155 EMC 2, 155 EM, 155 SD, and 155 SDP (between serial numbers 5521001 and 6421056) with the shorter (61") table, then this belt will not fit.  For these cutters see our part number GB-338

This green table slot cover band or back gauge belt is equivalent to, and a direct replacement for, the original Polar part number 242591 and ZA3.242591.  It is an aftermarket belt which is made from the same material as the original.  It contains the center "V" guide which is fused to the underside of the belt.  This V guide runs in a groove in the rollers to keep it centered.

It measures 60 mm wide (2 3/8" wide) by 1.25mm thick (.050" thick).  The cogged center "V" guide is 10 mm wide.  As shown in the photo, both ends of the belt have the mounting slots and holes cut out.
